Super Mario 64 is one of platform 3D where the player controls Mario thanks to several courses. Each course is a closed world in which the player is free d' to wander in all the directions and to discover l' environment without limits of time. As more d' stars are collected, more areas of the castle become accessible. The player opens doors in the castle with keys obtained by beating Bowser in special courses.
