This third new edition was revised again in-depth, even if the changes are not as considerable as in the 2nd edition. Of course, general objectives of l' work remained the same ones. " In particular, j' added some additional elements, namely two new sections relating to the graphic codes (which envisages a zone less obvious d' application and, like I l' hope, could also interest the reader in the important field of the theory of coding) and approximately two dozen new exercises (like d' practice, with solutions). J' also discussed and referred recent developments, in particular for the problem of the sales representative, where world records really impressive the new ones were reached. Moreover, the presentation of the material was improved in step badly d' places, in particular in the chapters on the shortest ways and of dyes. In addition to that, many small changes and corrections were made, and the proof of theorems were rewritten them to make, or more precis more transparent. Once again, I thank my students and d' assistants for their attention and d' interest as well as the contribution qu' they provided. Moreover, I am indebted with several readers who m' with some (fortunately, more or less minor) the problems alerted, and I am, of course, also grateful for the encouraging comments that j' received.
